The ParadeThe Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras parade is no ordinary gay pride-style parade. Each float, each marching group, has been at work for months, or years, to outdo themselves. The result is a festive evening parade that's feels more like a fun evening at the circus. These first two photos, from 1997 parade, show the Water Ballet team, in both heads-up and feet-up positions.
